Based on research, Estela S. de Lopez is a ceramic artist from the village of Mata Ortiz in northern Mexico. She is married to Samuel Lopez Quezada, the son of Reynalda Quezada. She seems to make mostly figures, based on ancient Paquimé shapes and designs.

Following is a quote from the potters list in the Appendix
of the Miracle of Mata Ortiz, 2nd ed.: Estela S. de Lopez - Estela is the wife of Juan Quezada's nephew Samuel Lopez Quezada. She makes small, well-polished black pots, usually with an animal or lizard form sculptured into the clay. [Samuel Lopez Quezada is the son of Juan Quezada's older sister, Reynalda Q. de Lopez, and Simon Lopez.
